Our volunteers contribute many hundreds of hours each year to bring PCC together, prepare recordings, publish the Science Perl Journal, and maintain our online resources. Your support helps cover the expenses that volunteer time alone cannot pay.
Donate: friends and supporters make the biggest difference
$5, $10, $15, or another gift below $100—small gifts add up. We expect the biggest collective impact to come from friends and supporters giving what they comfortably can. You do not need a business, a logo, or a large budget to help keep this work going.
Donations are the simple way to help because you value the conferences, recordings, and journal. They do not require a sponsorship arrangement or a public promotional package. Larger donations are welcome too; choose the kind of support that suits you.

Sponsor: put your name behind the work
Sponsorship is for supporters who want prominent public recognition. Associate your business, organization, or name with practical Perl work and the people sharing it. We want to thank sponsors visibly through names, logos, and acknowledgments on the site, at conferences, and alongside recordings and announcements.
The proposed annual levels below start at $100. Specific recognition placements and benefits will be agreed with organizers before sponsorship is finalized. Individuals and independent consultants are welcome alongside companies.

The PERL level names draw inspiration from our Golden, Platinum, and Diamond PERL awards. Sponsorship acknowledges financial support; it does not confer an award or influence award selection, talk acceptance, or journal peer review.
Recognizing our supporters
We want to thank sponsors visibly and generously. Possible recognition includes names and logos on the site, acknowledgments during conferences, and thanks alongside recordings and announcements. The recognition program is being developed; placements and benefits will be agreed with organizers before a sponsorship is finalized.
No sponsor roster is listed yet. We would be glad to discuss a suitable arrangement and how you would like your support acknowledged, including whether you prefer anonymity.
What your support makes possible
- Professional video services. We believe in high-quality recordings and want to keep improving them. Professional recording and editing help us deliver clearer audio, synchronized slides and screen recordings, and more consistent releases. They also let volunteers put more of their time into the next conference.
- Journal publishing services. Donations help cover preparation and publication of the Science Perl Journal, including DOI registration through Crossref and tools such as Overleaf that support our publishing workflow.
- Web hosting. Keeping the conference site, journal, and supporting online services available takes dependable infrastructure and ongoing funding.
